We have had an internal vote and Ben Owen has moved from Unit 4 seat to fill the treasurer position. We now have a vacancy for the unit 4 seat. On March 25, 1911, a tragic three-story fire broke out at the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory in New York City, killing 146 garment workers. Many of these workers were young immigrant women, primarily from Italian and Jewish backgrounds. The fire began due to the large quantities of fabric produced and stored in the factory.

Fidium, formerly Consolidated Communications, has announced a surplus to the employees in the Facility Management Group in New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont. The surplus is due to ongoing technology changes within the company, including the introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for service order management. This may result in a layoff of seven Facility Assigners.
