I would like to personally congratulate Brother Jim Lemay for being the first recipient of the Linda B. Horan Lifetime Solidarity award.

The award honors individuals who have dedicated their lives to and have made significant contributions through their career of service to the union.  The award is a unique tribute given only to the individual who is worthy of recognition for a lifetime commitment to the vision and mission of the union movement.  The recipient of the prestigious award has made a significant and lasting contribution to the union movement and has inspired others to serve the needs of the union members and that of the community.

Jim recently retired from The Phone Company with just under 37 years of service.  His dedication and knowledge will be greatly missed at the Union Hall, as well as the Central Office.
