IBEW is proud to sponsor a team at the 15th Annual Black Ice Pond Hockey Championships. This year’s team members consist of John Murphy, Jeff Kruger, James Decormier, William O’Neil, Corey Gillander, Walter Cammack and Brian Casserly.

For six weeks, IBEW members at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard worked without pay, all the while worrying how much longer the federal government shutdown would last and how many more bills would stack up.
They had no idea they’d soon be summoned to the yard’s IBEW office and handed $1,000 each, gifts made possible by the generosity of Second District locals.

IBEW Local 2320 is proud to recognize John Murphy as the 2025 Linda B. Horan Lifetime Solidarity Award recipient. The Lifetime Solidarity Award honors individuals who have dedicated their lives and have made significant contributions throughout a career of service to the union.
