Loss of a Union Sister Burnette

Carole M. Burnette, 91, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026. Born in Manchester, New Hampshire, on January 29, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Franklin Gibbons and Adelaide (Delfino) Gibbons. Carole grew up in Manchester, attending local schools and graduating with pride from Manchester Central High School, Class of 1952. She went on to build a long and accomplished career with New England Telephone, where she served with dedication as a toll traffic operator, a directory operator, and in the payroll department. A natural leader and a fierce advocate for her colleagues, Carole earned the respect of her peers and was elected President of her local union, IBEW 2320.

Loss of a union Brother McSheffrey

BELMONT ---- Neil McSheffrey passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the age of 75. Neil grew up in Braintree, Massachusetts, where he and his twin brother, Dan, along with their older brother, Brian, delivered more than 200 newspapers a day on their bicycles after school. Their parents, Bernard and Gertrude, completed the lively McSheffrey household with three older sisters — Judy, Marcia, and Jeanne.

Loss of a Union Sister Shea

Sally Anne Shea, 75, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2026 in the presence of her family. She was born on April 24, 1950 in Manchester NH and was the daughter of Edward Jeremiah Shea and Dorothy Grace (Hurley) Shea. Sally leaves behind her daughter Cara and wife Kristal Delahanty, and their two children Jacoby (Jake) and Teddy of Goffstown, NH; son John Delahanty and his three children Coralie, Kadance, and Asa of State College, PA; sister Barbara Deselle of Manchester, NH; nephew Andrew Deselle of Manchester, NH and his two children Liam and Lauren; many cousins and close friends. Sally was predeceased by her sister Judy and her husband Al Brown of Hamilton, Onterio.

Loss of a union brother Delaney

With great sadness I am posting the loss of yet another of our union brothers. Russ was a longtime member of IBEW Local 2320 and spent many years as a steward and in union leadership positions. He will be greatly missed.

Loss of a union brother Groulx

It is with a heavy heart that I must share the passing of our union Brother Kelly Groulx. His smile and sense of humor will be missed by all.

Loss of a union brother Welch

James J. "Jim" Welch, 65, of Canton, Connecticut, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 1, 2024, surrounded by his loving wife and daughters, after a courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Born in Manchester, New Hampshire, Jim was the youngest of four siblings raised by their devoted mother, Mary (McLaughlin) Welch. He is predeceased by his father, Thomas Welch, his brother Tom, and sister Sharon.

Loss of a union brother Borros

I regret that I must share that we lost a union brother April 15, 2025. Seabrook Nuclear Security Officer, Aden Borros, passed away yesterday at the young age of 23 years old. Please keep Aden and his family in your thoughts and prayers. We will post service information when it becomes available.
